How it works
Easy step
-
Exploring potential areas
a. We explore potential Geographical areas by conducting feasibility studies and analyzing the local agriculture market to identify high-demand crops and products.
b. Also consider areas where small and marginal farmers are concentrated, as these farmers often lack the resources and infrastructure to market their produce effectively. -
Identification of Individuals and Groups
a. Identify individuals and groups by collaborating with local NGOs, self-help groups, and government agencies.
b. Conduct outreach programs in villages and communities to create awareness and encourage farmers to form groups and join the FPO. -
Facilitation for the Process
a. Facilitate the formation process by providing legal and technical assistance, such as helping farmers register as a society or company.
b. Assist in building infrastructure, including procurement centers, storage facilities, and transport facilities, to support the farmers. -
Setting up and Supporting up the FPO
a. Set up and support farmers by providing access to credit, inputs, and services, such as training on best agricultural practices, market linkages, and value addition.
b. Also provide business development support, including branding and packaging, to help farmers market their products effectively. -
Training and Making it Self Sustainable
a. We undertake training programs of farmers on sustainable agriculture practices, including soil health management, water conservation, and natural resource management.
b. Adopt a sustainable business model by diversifying their revenue streams, investing in R&D, and building strong partnerships with buyers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. -
Seamless Exit
a. Ensure a seamless exit by empowering the farmers and building their capacity to manage the FPO independently.
b. Create a clear exit strategy, including transferring ownership and management to the farmers or other stakeholders, and providing post-exit support to ensure sustainability.
